1. Who we are
LinkAvora is operated by [Company legal name], [registered address], India (“we”, “us”). Contact: [privacy contact email].
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash) and account preferences.
- Business content you add or upload: business details, menus, catalogues, listings, photos and documents.
- Customer submissions: when a visitor sends an enquiry, booking request or order request through a business page, we process the details they enter on behalf of that business.
- Usage and security data: request logs, device type and a daily-rotating, salted hash of IP addresses used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- Billing information: plan and subscription status. Card and payment details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
3. Analytics on public pages
Visitors to business pages are counted with a daily-rotating anonymous identifier. We do not set advertising cookies on public business pages, and form contents are never included in analytics events.
4. How we use information
- To provide, secure and improve the service.
- To process uploads you request, including AI-assisted extraction.
- To send service emails such as verification, password reset and notifications you enable.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
- To meet legal obligations.
5. Businesses and their customers
For information that customers submit to a business through its LinkAvora page, the business decides how that information is used. We process it on the business’s behalf to deliver the service. [Confirm controller/processor roles with counsel.]
7. Retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Deleted businesses are removed after a recovery window. [Specify retention periods.]
8. Your choices and rights
You can access and update your account and business information in the app, export your data, and delete businesses or your account. Depending on applicable law you may have additional rights. [Complete with counsel, including rights under applicable Indian data protection law.]
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect information. See our Security page for details. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post updates on this page and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
